Terms of Service

Effective October 1, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Nucleus Prep LLC ("Nucleus Prep," "we," or "us"), a Arizona limited liability company. They cover your use of nucleusprep.com, our free resources, and any tutoring or consulting you book with us. By using the site or booking a session, you agree to them.

1. Who can use our services

You must be at least 18 to book paid services on your own. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf and is responsible for payment.

2. What we provide

We offer one-on-one MCAT tutoring and medical school admissions consulting, delivered online by tutors and advisors who are current students at U.S. MD programs. Each tier on our MCAT and Admissions pages is tied to a stated qualification, and we verify every tutor and advisor against it.

Our tutors and advisors share their own experience and perspective. They don’t speak for, and aren’t acting on behalf of, their medical schools.

3. No guarantee of results

We don’t guarantee any MCAT score, interview, or admission decision. Your results depend on your own preparation and on decisions made by testing and admissions bodies we don’t control. Past students’ results don’t predict yours. What we do guarantee is fit, as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Pricing and payment

Current rates are listed on our MCAT and Admissions pages. Hours are paid for in advance, and payments are processed by Stripe. We may change our prices at any time, but hours you’ve already paid for keep the price you paid. Any reduced-rate or pay-what-you-can pricing we offer is at our discretion and is confirmed in writing before you pay.

5. Scheduling, cancellations, and refunds

Rescheduling, cancellations, no-shows, unused hours, and refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is part of these terms.

6. Academic integrity

Our tutors and advisors coach and edit. They never write your application materials, take or share content from a real exam, or misrepresent your experiences. By booking, you agree to our Academic Integrity Policy and agree that everything you submit to schools or application services is your own work.

7. Your responsibilities

  • Give us accurate information about yourself, your scores, and your experiences
  • Treat your tutor or advisor with respect. We may end services, with a refund of unused hours, if a student is abusive or asks us to violate our Academic Integrity Policy
  • Don’t record sessions without everyone’s consent
  • You’re responsible for your own application decisions, deadlines, and submissions

8. Our materials and yours

Ours: our website, newsletter, study guide, Anki deck, practice passages, video walkthroughs, and other materials belong to Nucleus Prep. You’re welcome to use them for your own studying. Please don’t resell, republish, or redistribute them without our written permission.

Yours: your essays, activity descriptions, and other materials stay yours. You give us permission to use them only to provide services to you. We keep them confidential as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Free resources

Our blog, newsletter, study guide, Anki deck, and videos are general educational information, not individualized advice. We work to keep them accurate, but admissions requirements and statistics change. Always confirm details with the schools and organizations involved.

10. Not affiliated with the AAMC or any school

MCAT® is a registered trademark of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). AMCAS® is a registered trademark of the AAMC. Nucleus Prep isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by the AAMC, AACOM, TMDSAS, or any medical school. School names are used only to describe where our students and team have studied or been accepted.

11. Disclaimers and limits on liability

Except as stated in these terms, our services and website are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Nucleus Prep and its members aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including a score, an admission decision, or lost opportunities. Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for those services in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Resolving disputes

If something goes wrong, email us first at help@nucleusprep.com. We’ll try in good faith to resolve it with you within 30 days. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any dispute that can’t be resolved informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Pima County, Arizona, or in small claims court where eligible.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll change the date at the top of this page, and the version in effect when you paid for hours applies to those hours.
